A big influence in my documentary making is Cinéma vérité: the art or technique of filming a motion picture so as to convey candid realism. Films like ‘Chronique d'un été’ have helped develop my style; also the idea that I am a human with a camera and not a fly on the wall.
My main focus is making portaits of people or groups of people; trying to capture part of their essence.
